Hand-shaped terracotta

The Palmucci furnace proposes a line of hand-molded terracotta: this surface is worked from the part that the Mastri Fornaciai call “of manata” – that is the part that the craftsman at the time of molding, goes to smooth with his hands, that is the part upside down of the brick.

With a felt we proceed to soften the effect of the hands; hand-molded terracotta is basically used for interior flooring.

The formats that a la Fornace recommends the most to use for this line, are large. Here are some examples: 30×30, 40×40, 50×50, and hexagonal side 21 cm.
